Plagiarism Policy

he Editorial Team of Ekraf: Jurnal Ekonomi Kreatif dan Inovatif Indonesia acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable and has established the following policy detailing specific actions to be taken if plagiarism is detected in a submitted article.

Definition:
Plagiarism is the intentional or unintentional act of obtaining or attempting to obtain credit for scientific work by using any part of another person’s work—published or unpublished—without properly and fully citing the source.

Policy:

  • All submitted articles must be original, have never been published, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

  • Any material obtained verbally or from other sources must be clearly indicated and distinguished from the author’s original work.

  • The journal uses industry-standard software, Turnitin, to check all submissions for plagiarism.

  • If plagiarism is detected during the peer review process, the manuscript may be rejected.

  • In cases where plagiarism is discovered after publication, an investigation will be conducted, and appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the journal’s policies, which may include retraction of the article.
